AP 565 - Travel in Personal Vehicles
Background
The Division recognizes that out-of-school educational experiences enhance learning opportunities for students. The Division appreciates those adults who are authorized to transport students to attend these educational opportunities throughout the school year.
Procedures
1. All drivers must complete and submit a Driver Authorization for Transportation Form for each school year prior to transporting any students. This form is to be filed at the school. Refer to AF-561 Driver Authorization for Transportation Form.

2. The supervising teacher or authorized non-faculty coach/volunteer must complete the AF-260 Educational Trips Form for each activity as outlined:
2.1 This form shall be completed and authorized prior to the trip; and
2.2 The original is to remain at the school. A copy of the completed form is to be carried by the driver during the trip.
