The Humboldt Early Years Family Resource Centre (HEYFRC) is a welcoming, inclusive space for families with children from pregnancy to age five. The centre offers free programs, supports, and resources that help families build strong foundations during the early years—when children's brains grow and develop the fastest.
 
Families who visit HEYFRC can expect:
  • Parent–child programs that support learning, play, and early development
  • Opportunities to connect with other parents and caregivers in a supportive, judgment-free environment
  • Information and resources on child development, parenting, and family well-being
  • Guidance and referrals to community services and supports, when needed
  • Culturally respectful and inclusive programming that values each family’s traditions, beliefs, and experiences
