National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ people We honour the lives taken and raise awareness of this ongoing crisis of violence. Did you know that Indigenous women are four times more likely than non-Indigenous women to be victims of violence? And that, from 2001–2014, the rate of homicides involving Indigenous female victims was four times higher than that of non-Indigenous female victims?
Mental Health Week This Mental Health Week, we’re joining the call to Unmask Mental Health. Stigma can make people feel like they have to hide their struggles—but the more we choose honesty and compassion, the more connected and supported we all become.
