Paige Daubenfeld, who graduated from St. Brieux School in
2018, recently learned that she will be receiving the 2018-19 Chancellors’
Award from the University of Saskatchewan
. The scholarship, which is
awarded based on academic achievement at a Canadian high school, provides $7,500
over four years, for a total of $30,000.
Paige is currently studying at the University of
Saskatchewan in the College of Arts and Sciences, with intentions of completing
a degree in Physiology and Pharmacology. She then plans to apply to the College
of Medicine. She has always been interested in the health field, and sees it as
a great way to help others.
"I would like to thank my career counsellor,
Brent Loehr, who informed me of the Best and Brightest Entrance Scholarships,
as I would not have gotten the Chancellors' Award without his guidance,” Paige
