COVID-19 Information - April 1, 2021

April 01, 2021

On April 1, Horizon School Division was made aware of a COVID-19 diagnosis at Foam Lake Composite School.

Families at the school are being informed, and we are working closely with our excellent partners in Public Health to assist in the contact tracing process.

At this time, Foam Lake Composite School will remain open to students and staff following the Easter Break, unless families have been directed otherwise.

Further details cannot be provided, to maintain the privacy of the individuals involved.

We all have a shared responsibility to limit the spread of COVID-19. We thank Horizon's staff, students, and families for all their efforts to help mitigate the risks during this pandemic. We continue to require students and staff to stay home if they are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19. Horizon's detailed Re-Entering Horizon Plan can be found on horizonsd.ca, along with our new Administrative Procedure regarding Illness in Care, which details the process to be followed when a child experiences symptoms or illness while at school.
